any heavy bostons out there?

I have a 2 year old Boston and he is 38 pounds. When i take him to the park, people cant believe he is a boston. He is on the heavy side, but healty. Anyone with big Boston Terriers...? How many pounds?

    yes I have a boston who is close to 40 pounds but healthy and look portioned right. we also have another boston that is 25 pounds. i heard some one told me there is actually 3 sizes of bostons. however non of the boston books say that. they just say they were bred down in size they use to be big dogs.

      actually, many of "the books" <i>do</i> discuss the three classifications of boston terrier weights, which are:

      lightweight (under 15 lbs)
      middleweight (15-20 lbs)
      heavyweight (20-25 lbs)

      dogs falling into these weight ranges meet the "breed standard," at least for size.
